Volunteering Opportunities

1.  Education Department Volunteer.

Duties:
We work with approx. 17,000 Secondary pupils and
10,000 primary school pupils per annum who come to visit the
exhibitions.  Your role will be to offer support to this
department and deliver a quality service to visiting schools.

Experience/qualifications: Good communication skills
essential.  CRB check necessary.  Training will be given as
needed for the post.  A volunteer information pack is available.

Hours: Flexible to suit.

2. Coffee Shop Volunteers.

Duties: To assist the catering manager in the coffee shop.

Experience/qualifications: Good communication skills essential.
Training will be given as needed for the post.  A volunteer
information pack is available.

Hours: Flexible to suit.

3. Bookshop/Reception Volunteers.

Duties:  To assist with the sale of books and reception duties.

Experience/qualifications:  Good communication skills essential.

Hours:  Flexible to suit.

4. Memorial Gardens Volunteer.

Duties: Assist the Maintenance Coordinator with general
maintenance and upkeep of the gardens.

Experience/qualifications: Must be physically fit.  Training
will be given as needed for the post.  A volunteer information
pack is available.

Hours: Flexible to suit.
